If you travel, where do you go or want to?

Where have you been to so far? What is your favorite way to discover a foreign country?

So I guess I should start...

I have been to:

a considerable part of Germany, parts of France, Britain (well, actually just England. Never made it to Scotland or Wales), Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Sweden, Poland, Czech Republic, Russia, Lithuania, Denmark, Australia, USA, Canada.

Now the important part: My plans for the future:

As soon as possible Spain (for the language), Meso and South America (for the history - after all I have to keep my studies in mind) Especially the Maya-region and the former Inca-Empire.

Two of my dreams involve the Westcoast Trail and the Trans-Canada Trail, but that is quite far out into the future, I guess.

I am somewhat of a backpacking extremist ;) I saw most parts of Canada through the windows of a greyhound-coach.

WOW...What a jouney you have made. I'm jealous. I thought this was going to be about Led Zepplin when I first came in, but there's the age thing again. (Or just good...taste) Naw...sorry, lame jokes aside, I hope to travel to the UK, and in even the next few weeks, or not to far after, and maybe some other stops along the way. I just can't decide if I should simply plan to live there, as the cost of going on a simply holiday is so expensive, mine as well make the best of it,  grab a working visa, and make myself useful, or just go blow my money, party my face off, and do things the lazy spoiled way.  (bawhahahaha...think the latter will prevail) And the money is mine, not a paid trip from family or anything, just to clarify. The only person that spoils me , is ME!!!

Would love some input on your travels thru what parts of the UK you did attend.
