Hi,

I'm new here.

So what's happening to all of the good nights in Vancouver?

After Luvafair went belly up, it's been a search to find anything constant that isn't Top40/HipHop crap. I used to go to Alternative Wednesdays at Luvafair, and after that, Fridays at Rodaos/Twilight Zone/Alexander 7. The Caprice is having a once a month Luvafair Night, next one on May 16. But it still feels like Top40 has taken over the city.

There's Sin City, and Shift, but not alot else. I thought I saw a poster saying that Red Room was having some kind of punk night on Thursdays, but I can't find anything on the net about it.

Darkrave looks good, I'll have to check that out. And I'll defianately be at Horrorpops on Saturday. Looks like a kickass show.

That's all. Just felt like venting.

I've heard some good things about Thursday nights at The Marble Arch being very, very much like the old Thursdays at Skuzafair. I haven't been myself yet, so I'm going on hearsay.
