Curiosity  ~  Wednesdays at Honey Lounge,  455 Abbot Street

                  Free before 10:00, $2 after

                  9 PM - 1 AM

                  DJs Maleficent, R-Lex, Lori-Loo (formerly Anathema) and Contrasoma

                  will be playing new wave, electro, gawth, classic alternative, world,

                  roots-rock and ambient with a decidedly relaxed and classy vibe within

                  the plush, lush and downright decadent Honey Lounge.

                  Martinis, conversation, and none but the finest tunage.

All events are listed in CDN dollars and are age 19+ with 2 pieces of valid ID.

The whole ambience of Honey is amazing, especially with the stark contrast of Tinseltown across the street. An elegant crackville hideout on one side, and a crass bourgeois shrine on the other.

I love it!

Anyone know where I can get a setlist? They played this one track with an insane vocal ad libitum. Sounded like Tori Amos having a seizure. It was totally doing it for me.

...and a side note, if anyones looking for a game of chess, I'll be bringing a set next week. Just hover and grin and I'll have you playing in a matter of seconds...

Hot Damn! I think I found myself a new little hangout on Wednesdays. Cheap beer, Music I can discuss over (not just talk-over, commmunicate-over, or vaguely-understand-you-over), and the seats. The SEATS... :)  wow, that word looks funny in all caps.

My only qualm is the odd number of panhandlers outside all night. They kept coming around in 3 or 5 and at one point I think I counted 7. wtf is right.
