I've just added a recent activity view to the forums that shows the threads with the most recent activity sorted in reverse chronological order. This should make it easier to keep tabs on what's new in the forum.

The view much like the recent posts view in the News section, but unlike the recent posts view which shows all new content on the site, the recent activity view in the Forum section is restricted to just the forum.
