Top Hat (Nightclub #4), 2004

Oil & Acrylic on Canvas, 30" x 36"

Just so you know, I had a bugger of a time finishing this one.  I can't remember who said it, but a famour painter once stated, "an artist doesn't finish a work, so much as abandon it".  Utterly true.

Very nice peice of work there :)

It reminds me how much i need to work on getting my drawing and other art skillz back up to par.

Take a look at her eBay store (there's a link in Valerian's sig). She has prints of both her and my stuff, matted and ready to drop in standard frame sizes starting in the neighbourhood of $8.50 CAD.

If it's any consolation, when I was checking out your online gallery, this was among my favs.

Sadly, I am poor and cannot patronize such talent.  On the bright side, I'll be sure to keep them in mind when I am properly employed.
