Forum:

Respect

As in all the forums, I expect a level of respect in here.  I know that many of us do not share the same religion, values, and perspectives, and thus I will do my best to make sure that no slanderous, hurtful, or demeaning posts remain up.  This goes for slander against Christianity or God in general.  If you have hateful things to say, post them elsewhere.  This forum, I hope, is to be a place for constructive and insightful discussion and debate about the pros and cons, truths and myths, benefits and drawbacks, etc of Christianity.
The above post was made in the Christianity forum when there were separate forums for each major religion. Now that the threads have been consolidated the specific reference to Christianity makes less sense here, but the sentiment remains the same. This is not a forum for slagging someone else's religion, this is a forum for discussing all religions in a respectful way. That means rational, backed-up points and counter-points are welcome, name-calling and unreasoned, hateful posts are not.-- Atratus

Oh okay, I was wondering why the posts in the "don't feed the trolls" section were all a bit odd. I had no idea that area was a dumping ground.

Well said. This level of respect is something that applies to the whole board in general. The idea of having a goth-friendly board is for it to in fact be goth-friendly. The sort of posts that I have moved to the "Don't Feed the Trolls" board are not welcome in any thread.
