I've introduced myself before, but I lost my username awhile ago and thus, here I am again (with, not to mention, a much less creative username). I'm sixteen and I live in Mission, whch is an unmentionably dull little hole-in-the-wall with a Silvercity and a couple of book stores. You'd understand if you've ever been there. I spend my weekdays incognito as a slightly off-kilter art-nerd and then pull out the tulle and big boots on the weekend. Of course I'm not a clubber, but I think that it's only right to recognize the 'real me' once in awhile... without going absolutely homicidal on my wallet. I love the gothic genre and pretty much all of the music associated with it, but I'm a super nerd for '80s and '70s bands, as well as some of the punk music around that time, but I'm open-minded to everything else associated with it as well. I like the idea of relating music to noise instead of faces, so I can't tell you any trivia about any of the members of Red Lorry Yellow Lorry or KMFDM, but I know that I've heard them make noise. I am also a singer, occassionally a writer, and most of all - a painter. I'm in a rebellious band that never practises, and the only performances that I've had haven't been arranged or on a stage. I love strange books (The Wasp Factory, A Clockwork Orange) and new people.

So, without further adu; HELLO.

To steal a line from Jean Marchand,

The best thing about Mission is the train to Vancouver.

[size=1](And for those of you not older than dirt or overly well versed in Canadian history, Jean Marchand was Pierre Trudeau's trasportation minister and in 1972 famously quipped, "The best thing about Ottawa is the train to Montréal")
