So how did this go anyhow?
I am currently working with another artist to get a few galleries going around the interior and okanogan, So any tips or sugestions would be welcome.

It exceeded expectations. The turnout was better than anticipated and several of the artists showing sold work (myself included). We'll definitely be doing another event at some point.

Having worked with collective-run galleries I have really only one key bit of advice: figure out where the money going to come from. Canada Council money is only available for non-profit galleries, and only *after* they have been in operation for a year. They're only going to count the year on the basis of formal paperwork (e.g. incorporation), so dot your i's and cross your t's. Being underground is very, very difficult to maintain. All idealism aside, running a successful gallery in 99.9% accounting and shameless promotion.
