Old Photos in the RSS Feed

Right now the Latest Photos RSS Feed is picking up older photos an in turn feeding these out to our Google+ and Facebook pages. While this is an unexpected glitch from something really great and long overdue that I started working on, I'm not going to be doing anything about it. I'm looking at it as a "happy accident" à la Bob Ross... enjoy the retrospective!

Revisiting the Reason I Started All This

Originally I started taking pictures at the clubs in order to have source images for drawings and paintings. I let myself drift away from that and the photography became a thing of its own. Nothing wrong with that, really, but there remains something more satisfying about one hand-drawn image that 10,000 digital pictures can't touch.

For 25 years GothicBC was a resource for goths and other lovers of the dark alternative scene from Victoria to Fort St. John. Promoters and patrons of B.C. events could upload pictures to personal albums and share them in the public photo gallery to showcase these events and we have a photographic history of the Goth scene in B.C. (mostly Vancouver) spanning 1984 to 2022.  We feed our content to our facebook page and Instagram pages.
