Eleven Pond (Dark Entries Records, NYC) formed in 1986, releasing one postpunk/synth pop/darkwave LP 'Bas Relief' + recording songs for their second LP, 'Assemblage'.
When the band broke up in 1987, the masters were shelved. A reissue on Dark Entries turned 'Bas Relief' into a $900 collectable record and cult classic. In 2009, Eleven Pond was rediscovered in the underground and DJs introduced a new generation to the band. In 2010, Jeff Gallea reformed the band. Eleven Pond is finally coming to Vancouver in July 2015.
