We are thrilled to celebrate the 40 year anniversary of Vancouver's most creative, exciting and influential nightlife experience-- LUVAFAIR. When the club opened in 1975 the Keriasotis brothers could have never foreseen the incredible legacy the now defunct venue would leave upon Vancouver's most creative patrons, artists, musicians, photographers and fashion designers. When the legendary venue sadly closed its doors for the last time on February 1-2003 a huge hole had been left for everyone who went there. We try and keep the legacy alive as if it were here still today.
Sadly, New Romantic pin king/pioneer Steve Strange ( from Visage and the UK Blitz CLUB) passed away at age 55 on February 12 this year. His influence on Luvafair with his hero David Bowie has been 2nd to none. Tonight we dedicate this evening to the one and only self-proclaimed Queen of the UK and truly one of the most influential people on the new romantic/new wave-disco era of Luvafair. Lets party our hearts out this very special evening!! We hope to see all of you there!
